Ecopia Plc is a 'For Profit Social Enterprise' headquartered in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Ecopiawas founded in 2006 by Dr. Mitslal Kifleyesus-Matschie and Tigist Mengistu. The name"Ecopia" stands for 'Ecological Products of Ethiopia'. Ecopia specializes in producing anddistributing high-quality natural food and cosmetics, which are manufactured usingsustainable, environmentally, and socially friendly methods. After our restructuring we areback to manufacturing and launched B2C ecommerce infrastructure.

Our goal is to produce and distribute natural products that create value for both local producers and consumers in Ethiopia and worldwide. Ecopia integrates the poorest segments of society not only as raw material suppliers but also as producers.
To date, we have trained more than 10,000 farmers in value-added manufacturing and have a presence with our products in Ethiopia, Germany, Canada, and Austria.
Our botanical sourcing services offer both processed and semi-processed products from Uganda, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Ghana, Morocco, and other African countries, ensuring top-tier quality and reliability. We specialize in procuring a diverse range of botanicals, including premium coffee beans from Uganda and Ethiopia, renowned for their rich flavors and aromatic profiles. Additionally, we source frankincense and myrrh from Ethiopia and Somalia, prized for their purity and therapeutic properties. Our shea butter, sourced primarily from Nigeria and Ghana, is known for its superior moisturizing and healing qualities. Leveraging our extensive network and expertise in African botanicals, we provide products that meet the highest standards for various industrial and consumer applications.
